Η OLYMPOS TREK με ειδικότητα στις υπαίθριες δραστηριότητες αναψυχής / εκπαίδευσης, δραστηριοποιείται στον χώρο της επαγγελματικής προσφοράς υπηρεσιών από το 1995.

Από τους πρωτοπόρους σε αυτό το είδος των υπηρεσιών, εισήγαγε, δημιούργησε και ανέπτυξε στην περιοχή της ανατολικής Θεσσαλίας και παραλίων, όλες τις προϋποθέσεις για υπαίθριες δραστηριότητες αναψυχής, όπως Rafting Canoe / Καγιάκ, Canyoning (καταρρίχηση φαραγγιών) και άλλα, σε σοβαρό επαγγελμάτικο και οργανωμένο επίπεδο.

Ο Βασίλης Γραβάνης, ιδρυτής και ιδιοκτήτης της “OLYMPOS TREK”, προέρχεται από τον χώρο της ορειβασίας και του αλπινισμού ειδικότερα. Η πάνω από 25 χρόνια ανελειπής ενασχόληση του με την αθλητική ορειβασία και ότι αυτή περιλαμβάνει, η συμμετοχή του σε τέσσερις επιτυχείς αποστολές σε μεγάλα βουνά των Ιμαλαΐων, τα χιλιάδες κάθετα μέτρα βράχου που έχει αναρριχηθεί σε όλη την μέχρι τώρα πορεία του (120 νέες διαδρομές βράχου και χειμερινές στον Ελλαδικό χώρο και πλήθος σημαντικών επαναλήψεων), οι άπειρες ώρες περιπλάνησης σε όλα τα ελληνικά βουνά όλες τις εποχές του χρόνου και τέλος η υπέρμετρη αγάπη του για τον φυσικό κόσμο που μας περιβάλει, είχαν σαν αποτέλεσμα την βαθειά γνώση και εμπειρία, σε ότι έχει να κάνει με δραστηριότητες στην ύπαιθρο και το πως αυτές θα γινόταν εφικτές σε όλους όσους επιθυμούσαν μία τέτοια επαφή με την φύση και όχι μόνο στους "ειδικούς" του είδους.

Ήταν απλώς φυσιολογικό, το ότι την ορειβασία και τον αλπινισμό ακολούθησε το Canyoning, το Rafting, το Κανό ποταμού, το Καγιακ θαλάσσης και πολλά άλλα, καθώς και η δημιουργία της “OLYMPOS TREK.

Με την μακρόχρονη εμπειρία της στον χώρο, η OLYMPOS TREK αποτελεί σήμερα αναμφισβήτητα ένα από τα πρώτα ονόματα σ΄αυτόν τον τον τομέα. Τα σχόλια άλλωστε των πελατών μας το αποδεικνύουν.

Η γεωγραφική περιοχή όπου η "OLYMPOS TREK" υλοποιεί τις δραστηριότητές της είναι: Όλυμπος, κοιλάδα Τεμπών, Πηνειός ποταμός, Κίσσαβος, Πήλιο, ανατολικά παράλια (κέντρο δραστηριοτήτων Κισσάβου-Ολύμπου) .

Οι ανατολικές κατάφυτες πλαγιές του Ολύμπου, Κισσάβου και Πηλίου ακολουθούν τα υπέροχα παράλια της ανατολικής Θεσσαλίας, με κατάληξη τα καταπράσινα νησιά των Β. Σποράδων. Το πράσινο του βουνού μεταλλάσσεται σε γαλάζιο της θάλασσας. Η ροή του "Αργυροδίνη" - κατά τους αρχαίους Έλληνες - Πηνειού, ανάμεσα από τον θεϊκό Όλυμπο και τον Κίσσαβο, δημιουργεί καλλιτεχνήματα της φύσης. Ένα από αυτά η πασίγνωστη κοιλάδα των Τεμπών, θέατρο νυμφών, θεών και ημίθεων...

"OLYMPOS TREK", a company based in Larissa (Eastern Thessaly), specialized in outdoor activities and multi activity holidays, has been offering its professional services since 1995.A pioneer in this field in Eastern Thessaly, "OLYMPOS TREK", has literally created and developed, all those outdoor activities like canyoning, rafting, river canoeing, sea kayaking, adventure course activities (climbing, abseiling, fly foxing, high ropes) e.t.c. on a professional and organised basis.
Vassilis Gravanis, the founder and owner of “Olympos Trek” comes from the mountaineering world. He has been a very keen mountaineer and rock climber for over 25 years. The thousands of vertical rock climbing steps, the endless hours of rambling along obsolete mountain slopes, his four Himalayan expeditions and most of all, his love for the natural world around us resulted in sound knowledge and great experience.
His main drive was the exploration of the unknown and the new! Finally he knew pretty well, that his native land more than anything else had a great potential for the outdoor active world. It was only natural that mountaineering and climbing where to be followed by canyoning , rafting, sea kayaking, river canoeing, mountain biking and so on.
From that time onwards, many ideas came to fruition, not least of all, the founding of “OLYMPOS TREK”.
The long and creative presence in the field makes "OLYMPOS TREK" the leading name in this kind of services, in all eastern Thessaly. The comments of our customers do prove it.

A coastline that boasts so many sandy beaches of unique natural beauty, a mountainous chain running from the North to the South along this coastline, from Mt. Olympus to Mt. Pelion and the islands of the N. Sporades group, the southern continuation into the Aegean Sea, form the complete picture of this area, so remarkably rich with history, culture and nature's gifts.

Little is heard about it, especially to an outsider. Yet, if you took the trouble to discover and understand the character of the area, you would be pleasantly surprised with what you would experience, wondering why you have not been here before! Maybe, that's the beauty of this area.
